Bathroom Remodeling
Full bathroom remodels for homeowners in Westchester and Putnam County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. One contractor, from tear-out to the last tile.
Most people call us for one of 2 reasons. The bathroom is dated and they're done looking at it. Or something's leaking, and the stain on the ceiling below keeps getting bigger.
Either way the job's the same. We take the room down to what's actually there, fix whatever we find, and build it back the way you want it: tile, tub or walk-in shower, vanity, lighting, fixtures. RADI runs the whole project, so you're not stuck chasing a plumber and a tile guy who each think the other one's running late.
When a leak is the real problem
A lot of our bathroom jobs start as leak calls.
Water gets behind tile or under a shower pan, slowly, for years. By the time anyone notices, the subfloor's soft. One family hired us after a leak had rotted the floor under their main bathroom:
"He fixed the original issue of the leak and gave us a completely new bathroom from the floors to the walls and everything in between." (Ariel D., Google review)
Another homeowner had paid other contractors to fix a leaking shower stall before calling us:
"My shower stall in master bedroom was leaking for years. We spent thousands of dollars, and nobody could fix it." (Leon H., Google review)
We tore it all out and rebuilt it new. His words: "The most important: no leak, and the shower stall looks beautiful."
That's why we don't tile over a problem. If the floor or the wall behind it is wet, it comes out first.

What a remodel with us looks like
The estimate. Marjan comes out, looks at the room and gives you a quote. Estimates are free, and before any work starts you get the scope in writing, so you know exactly what's being done.
Picking finishes. Have a rough idea of what you want, and we'll bring samples to help you decide. We supply the materials and the labor, so you're not driving to the tile store on a Saturday.
The work. Moving plumbing or taking out a wall usually means a permit from your town or village. Where your job needs one, we pull it. On day one the crew covers your floors and furniture. After that they keep you posted when the schedule shifts, and they sweep up before leaving every day. 3 different customers brought that up in their reviews without being asked:
"They made sure to clean up every day before leaving, leaving our space neat and tidy." (Tricia T., Google review)
How long it takes. It depends on what's behind the walls. One full gut renovation of a main bathroom was finished in about 2 weeks. A rebuilt shower stall with a long-term leak took about 3. Old bathrooms hide things. Behind the tile we've found cement walls, a second layer of tile someone set right over the first, even old wallpaper. Any of those can change the price or the schedule, so if we find one, we'll show you.
The walkthrough. When it's done, we walk the finished bathroom with you before we call the job closed.
Smaller bathroom jobs, too
Not every job is a full gut. We also do:
-
Bathtub installation and replacement
-
Tile installation and replacement on floors, walls and tub surrounds
-
New sinks, faucets, toilets and shower fixtures
-
Grab bars and safety upgrades ("the bars are wonderfully sturdy and look nice," Riley W.)
-
Vanities and bathroom countertops
